03-05 r6 guys...
Hey guys im making some stock replacement parts out of Carbon Fiber and thought i would ask to see if anyone wants me to make them a set. Right now im in the process... almost done... with making the mold for the ram air covers. I plan to make other parts like an exhaust hanger (so you can get rid of the pass pegs), heel guards, tire huggers, and a few other parts.
Right now im making the molds using the traditional gel coat/fiberglass method. I also put copper lines to run water through the mold to keep the temp down from the chemical reaction in the resin. These parts are going to look great. They will have a nice clear, glass like surface that will make the CF just shine.
Jay, Mosh, and other R6 guys let me know if you want anything... im trying to see how much interest i get and depending on how many parts people want will determine the price.
Other bike guys, if i get enough interest for other parts i will make them also. But im not going to make a nice mold to only pop 5 parts out of :smt023 if you have ever done fiberglass molds or anything like it you will understand why.... molds take forever to make and perfect
