space station gone...

Made this myself, went and bought some 16 gauge sheet metal for $5.96 and cut it all up like this nice and pretty in a few hrs wrk, prolly shouldn't have took so long but im a bit lazy when it comes to working on my own things so i was slow lol

All I used was a hacksaw, a vise, some drill bits and a grinder, what other tools does a man need :smt048

and on a side note, this shit is awesome for cleaning wheels

Looks awsome. I take it it is made out of alluminum. Throw some thread locker on so those wing nuts dont back out and you loose your plate...

side note: just make sure you put on a license plate light to make it legal. You may not need one but it is just somethin for the police to haggle you about.

im gettn rid of those nasty reflective bolts for the plate as soon as i got off my ass and drill the holes bigger in the hanger for diff screws i got with a locnut on it.

I have a plate light but didnt put it on, I didn't have on on my old bike and i had countless cops follow me and no prob, never heard of anyone having a prob, and plus my tailight lites it up a bit as do car headlights behind me

and my integrated tailight led board is on the way to :smt077

Jer arnt u glad u never had that ridiculous looking mud flap on ur bike when u picked it up :h

i think i would have rolled into a gas station and ripped it off before i got home. Lucky mine came with the craptastic hot bodies undertail. Although it fits alright i have heard horror stories of them fitting terrible so i dont think ill take it off anytime soon fearing getting it back on right...

the tail light board will make that thing look sweet. I was following a 600rr the other day with one. They look really clean

looks nice. do you get in trouble for putting your plate farther forward/angled up more?

we just got rid of all the crap hanging off the back of my friend's RR, angled the plate up and farther forward and put a two bros pipe on. HUUUUUUGE difference.
