wow. the front wheel was light in 3rd gear at 8,000. it was amazing! I've never riden a liter bike before either so I have nothing but my ol gixxer to compare it too. crap dang it was fast!

To me there's still no reason to get a liter bike.

Around the track 600's beat up liters, hell even 250's beat up 600's lol

Around the city, a 600 is still PLENTY fast enough. Granted 1000's got alotta power on the 600 at every RPM, but the 600 will still move no prob

Granted I'd ride one in a heartbeat just for fun, I just dont see the point of having a liter bike at all....

And Jay when you actually ride hard maybe then you can think about movin up to a 1000. :h

the guy that has it just got a liter because he could, actually rides relatively conservative. He has an R6 for a track bike and like mentioned, can turn faster lap times than most of the liters because he corners better. I MAY be taking the gixxer to willow springs with him this coming monday!!!

NOOOOOOO! THE MAN has forced me to earn my money tomorrow so the bills can be paid and responsibilities taken care of, which means no track day tomorrow. :smt090 :}n
oh well, I should have plenty more opportunities now that the weather is close to clearing up. I don't mind all the rain/snow we're getting though, just means a longer wakeboarding season this summer!

kinda bummed but I'd rather go to a track school training day first before I start trying to push it out there. it's only about $300 for a full instructed day with track time, not too bad for what you get IMO.
