track days
Track days occur at least monthly, we have two organizations here that conduct track days at different times and tracks, primarily Texas World Speedway, Motorsport Ranch Cresson, and Oak Hill Raceway. We also have a new track here in Houston that is affiliated with the Cresson Track called Motorsport Ranch Houston that conducts their own events. Lone Star Track Days conducts track days and licensing sessions for the CMRA here. i use track days for practice on the TLR and to ride my Repsol the way it was meant to be ridden. You just can't ride a bike on the street the way you can on the track though I love to ride on the street also. Ta Jay-you can't go wrong with a Dainese gear of any kind, it's worth the price-I had to use one when I low sided exiting the horseshoe at TWS during the endurance race in June-if you're gonna spend the money get the best gear you can to protect your body, gears a lot cheaper than medical care. BTW-I not only walked away-we continued the race.
