First V8 Race

I know this is a Muscle car club and if you completly dispise 4-bangers then stop here. . don't even read it. I just figured since its a Hi-po Ford that it was ok.


Well, i was coming home yesterday and this 80s model trans am (it was nice, fresh paint, flows, new rims and tires, just a beautiful car) was in front of me and we were at a stop light. The light turned green and i seen the assend drop down and the front end pop up and it squaled the tires off the line. So i put it up to about 2300rpm and launched it(any more than that then it balls the fronts off even at half throttle) i wound 1st out to 6800rpm and squalled into second by that time he quit pulling away from me, i wound 2nd out to about 6200rpm and changed lanes when i shifted it into 3rd, i put half a car on him and then it was even until i had to shifted into 4th, when i did that he just slowly walked on by me. Not bad for a pretty much stock S2 Focus. I was impressed

nothin wrong with four bangers, and I think ure car is pretty damn nice, I just cant stand ricers...and that includes riced out domestics as well

thanx, i cant stand ricers ether, i seen this one saturn ion redline today and im not exaggerating, the wing was litterally 2-2.5 feet tall. It was ugly, i thought it was gonna fly away!!
