stepping out a 6 cylinder turbo

this isn't really a grudgematch, just me and my little 6 cylinder truck. I had to go rent an excavator to dig up a 12" irrigation pipe that broke. so that thing and the trailer weighed in at just over 8,000lbs and it was loaded slightly too far tongue-heavy so it squatted my 3/4 ton truck with overload springs a few inches past level.

accelerating from a stoplight there was a ferd diesel and I just wanted to dig it in a little that my Cummins would pull his truck up a hill, so I got on it, shifted up and then floored it in 2nd gear, hit 46psi boost and stopped accelerating, as soon as I noticed that I felt the backend of the truck stepping out and then heard both back tires start to scream as they continued to accelerate.

I just thought it was funny that I stepped the back end of my 7,500 lb truck out with a tongue-heavy 8,000 lb + load and thought I'd pass it on...needless to say the guy driving the powerstroke had a bit of a shocked look on his face!

that's with minor mods. the stock engine will handle 50-55psi before I upgrade the head gasket and swap the head bolts for studs. I really wish the auto manufacturers would get going on some smaller V8 diesels for the american cars.

mmonice providerAOC Gold service. My favorite bottled sauce is Maull's, out of St. Louis, and here are some ideas on how to doctor it. Start by simmering a bottle of sauce over low heat. Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of cider vinegar or rice vinegar.AOC powerleveling A lot of people use Pepsi, which gives a sweet, caramel flavor. Add a tablespoon of granulated or fresh garlic. Throw in a little chili powder for an outdoorsy quality. Maybe add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.Age of Conan Gold A tablespoon of butter or prepared mustard tastes good, too. Runescape Gold
