I was on I-485 in Charlotte a few hours ago and figured I'd show a few roll-racers what V8 power can really do.

I was down by Hwy 49 on 485 and I'm coming into view of about four Hondas and Acuras, two rolling side by side going probably about 55 or 60 and some other guys surrounding the cars. My assumption was that a trailing car was video taping and the two in the center two lanes (an Accord and a Prelude) were racing. I was right when I heard them blow the horns, so I figured I'd be an ass and get their attention.

I laid down on it and was pulling up to them and by the time i was coming up to about 90 I was beginning to catch them. I got behind one of the trailing cars, took his draft, and stomped it again, going around him and in between the lanes he and the other cars were in, and I flew past every car that was there. When I did that I heard all four cars go down on it. I got into the right hand lane and let them all go around me before I stomped it again and got right up beside them, gave the guy in the Accord the bird, dropped it to third gear and flew past their asses again.

I get off 485 @ the Fort Mill exit and they get off with me, I pull into a gas station and the guy in the Accord starts laughing at the Bird, claiming that he 'never went down on it.' I told him that I'd roll race him (even though mine has no rolloff) on Johnston Rd and he took the bait. We drive down 160 to Johnston, turn left onto Johnston and head up towards Ballantyne. His friends followed behind us. When both lanes were clear I rolled up beside him and we started off about 40mph, he blows the horn 3 times. I threw it in 2nd gear and stomped it and made the tires bark before I smoked his ass.. again.

We stopped at a Petro Express and I asked his friends if they wanted some of the LT1. Not one of them spoke up. :smt077

So let me get this straight. Not knowing any of these people/cars, you flew up on someones ass only to swerve over and cut in between two lanes that had cars in them and proceeded to give someone the middle finger for no real reason? Sounds absolutly retarded to me.

Wow.. you totally came off like an ass. You butted in their race, gave them the finger and gave the ricers another reason to dislike domestics.

Yeah your car is faster.. but guess what.. they had 10x more class. and they were RICERS...

Yeah, and I also race very seldom. In whatever car I drive, I act the same way. And I came off as an ass because the guy who posted to me, was one as well.

I don't really give a crap if I lose a race. I drive a 93 trans am, bone stock, with 180k miles. That's the point. If I lose I lose. Doesn't bother me one bit. I haven't put money into that car, I've got nothing to cry over. Even when what is faster than mine shows up. And as far as class is concerned, no, because they were quite bitter that a 'bone stock heavy piece of junk' outran an import.

I may have been an ass to them, but it isn't as if I'm the only person who races like a 'cocky bitch', as you so adequately put it.

I'm not inclined to say that I'll win every race I ever do. But I'll have fun with it when it's worthwhile. :)
