Me and a buddy want to race. I own a 1996 camaro Z28 LT1 with 115k miles headers, flowmaster exhaust, k&n cai, bosch platinum 4 with bosch wires, and shift kit, and limited slip. He owns a 1991 camaro RS and next week he is installing a brand new tbi 355 with single snorkel intake with k&n, edelbrock catback (gutted cat), bosch platinum 2 with wires, 206/216 duration gmpp iroc-z cam, l98 heads, lt4 valve springs, 9:5:1 compression ratio.

Im going to go with the Z

My brother (default) ran a 13.4 with basically only mid length headers on his 93 Z. So with full length headers im thinking a 13.2 possible, i'd say the Z has it.

I am gonna go with the RS but it all comes down to getting off the line perfect and not makin any mistakes. Is the RS a auto or manual trans?

I'm voting for the Z. Is it just me or does that seem like a really small cam and low compression?

Yeah the cam is small. Actually I don't know if it will do anything for performance but that's just what's in it. I think it's a little bigger than stock though. It's an auto btw.
