Today on my way to Woodward I came upon a 67 Mustang that was rumbling down 8 mile. I finally caught up to it and goose the gas so he would take the bait. We lined up at a light at Livernois. Light changed and I got him by two cars and pulled big time on him. He later went by with a smile and a wave. :-)
Now on to the loss. :}n
One the way home from Woodward I got lined up with that white El Camino that is always out. We were at the light at Normandy. Light changed and I got sooooo smoked by him. He got me by three cars and started pulling on me like I was driving in reverse. I got to tell everyone that that car runs real good. He later pulled up on me and asked if Lidio did my work and complimented me on my car. I asked him what kind of time he has run. He said he didn't have any because he got run out of the track for not having a cage. I'm betting he is in the lower 11's. Pretty cool guy.
Well done Darryl. I don't think there is much 99% of cars on Woodward can do about that El Camino. He got on it by himself from a light a week or two ago and I happened to see it. That car screams!
