My guess is it has something to do with the 3900lb weight of the cobra and driver. The cobra makes nice numbers on the dyno and runs decent for it's weight. I would not be happy with 1.60 sixty foot's though with a car making that much torque. With that being said the suspension on the cobra is all stock and it's a street car not a drag car.

Another point to be made, the fastest cam only ls1 car only makes 440ish rwhp and goes 10.2's so by the logic you presented the early fbody has some things to figure out. :smt048

The camaro's done sortin - he's sellin'.

The car was not set up to go fast - it was set up to be quick and repeatable, which is how it made it to the Bracket Finals at Norwalk three years inna row.

the point simply was that 11.3's with 500 on tap + suspension sorting = 10's.
