I know. Lons car is pretty stupid fast. I haven't heard anything lately about Jeffs Cobra. Was a nice car last time I saw it last year though, haha

And for however asked about the Camaro with "HP" on the back, he comes up to Auto Europe every now and again. Aparently he's just headers (if that) and cat-back. He's from around here though.

Anything running in the 13s or better is very rare on most streets. This does not include Detroit but here is it still rare, especially one that is driven daily. I have read Chucks losses and met the guy a few times, he is not a sore loser or a sore winner. He is just smart enough to know when to and when not to, like a few of us (ok, street racing and smart? hmm ok, well, you know what I mean). Now at the track, as long as it isn't heads up, speed and money no longer matter, it is all skill in a bracket car and having a consistant 12-13 sec car is a very good thing. Yeah, you won't make a shit load of cash but you won't spend it either.

I get a kick outta makin' the most out of what I got - always have. For me, it's not about absolute HP or the best ET or trap - it's about that spur-of-the-moment run against someone who *knows* their car is faster - or thinks they can at least hang with Max.

One of the car mags just did a supercar shootout; there were cars which made TONS more HP than what I run - but weren't considerably faster. Posting big HP numbers don't make you fast - it just makes it easier to blow the tires away at the flick of a TB blade.

I'm not sayin' I've got the fastest thing on the street. I'm just havin' fun with what I got - and sharin' the experience with y'all. I really appreciate the positive feedback you've all given to the 'stories' - they are posted for your entertainment, after all!
