My sister had a 2 door neon 5 or 6 speed (I can't remember. . . . lol) We drove it to the guy's house when we bought my first car, the 73 Mustang 351C I have mentioned once or twice. On the way back, my dad drove it and had it over 100 and that car seemed ungodly fast. I know it sounds crazy. . . 9 times out of 10, it's the driver that matters, not the car. In my opinion, most of the guys who brag about how fast their cars are can't drive them to save their lives. Example: Last year, a kid in my spanish class asked me how fast my Camaro was. I told him it was a v6, and he proceeded to tell me how much faster his Dad's stock Civic was. I dismissed him. His dad's civic is a manual trans. . . He sees me on Main Street, pulls up next to me at the light, and tries to race. I cranked up the radio, laughed my ass off, and took off at the light. He stalled the car, and by time he caught up, I was in my driveway, leaning against the side of my car, pointing and laughing at him. Bitches! I hate ignorant people. I could've been a friend of his, but he decided he wanted to try and make himself out to be some billy-badass in front of his buddies. Too bad they couldn't see him stall out his Dad's WICKED FAST civic 4 door at a light trying to race a BRIGHT ORANGE CAMARO! loser. . . lol

The thing is hes lieing about haveing a turbo.

I once met a guy saying he had a turbo on his 90ish integra. I didn't believe him, so I went over had a look and it turned out to be a K&N filter and intake tube. :h Some people just don't know any better.

To Mope freaks, if it isn't a true SRT-4, it's just an Avis rental.

When I was in HS (I'm 23, BTW) I was rolling a beater '87 Monte SS. Really wasn't that fast, but I could talk anyone down. BUT I knew when to shut up, too.

As far as that Grand Am, there is a thing called reverse sleepers. Basically take the most riced out domestic (GM W body, Cavi's with the Cobalt engine, the old Omni GLH's, etc.), rice them to the point of hysterical laughter, and hold the low-12 or better timeslip in hand just out of sight. They mistake you for a poser and get their ass handed to them. We have one on Ft. Lewis, an '88 RX7 packing a 327 on a 100-hp shot, painted bright green with all the APC stickers and neon...it's hilarious what he does to people.
