i have nothing against the neons... just most of thier owners have the ricer mentality.. (cheat in whatever way possible to win.. then throw on the blinkers.. i.e. ricer flyby)
actually i wouldnt mind having an SRT4..

I was just busting your balls (back). I won't disagree that most SRT owners are deusch bags. Some make poor decisions involving their cars, I'll also agree to that.

Personally - I like the SRT's. I had a modded Expresso when they first came out; while nowhere near as fast as an SRT, it was a ball!
My problem with neons is they ain't worth shit used. Total car value is the buy price minus the sell price; turns out a Neon is as much money to own as a 'vette. Difference is you hafta have jing in the bank for the vette - neons are no money down.
And rye - when the hammer drops, we'll see what's what.

I have no idea what you have done to your car other than I think you have a Mach 1. Either way I'm always game for an ass whuping!
Do you have the yellow Mach I saw tonight?
I agree Neons aren't worth anything when it comes to resale value. Thats why I decided to take the plunge of a different turbo and keep the car a while longer. No use in selling it now.

You just pretty much explained why I hate SRT4's.... the owners are such cocky fucks. Hopefully you arent. Im not gonna argue that they are pretty fucking fast though, a grand or two and your in the 12's with a 4 cylinder pretty impressive shit.

Nope. Everyone on the outside other than the wheels are stock right now. My car is still in the shop...won't be back until Monday. After I get to the track next weekend I'll be putting the stock wheels back on, so it'll be 100% stock looking other than a different badge on the back that says "SRT-4"

I'm actually a figment of of the collective SEMB imagination - a paunchy middle-aged guy drivin' a plain-jane Taurus back and forth to his work cube every day - a guy who wishes his car was fast - and that he still had hair on his head and an active sex life.
Soo...I make up for my inadequacies by 'inventing' stories.
Yeah - that's it. They're all pure fiction.
|
I love the stories, even if they are "fiction". Is there mostly fact behind these stories?
|
Well...
1) You could ask Jon (rare4thgens) about the run-in Max had with a Lotus Elise - he had a front-row seat as the Elise was whupped right in front of AutoEurope.
2) You could ask Brian (IBMGoat) about Max and the Z06 rippin' it up in front of his place of work, or:
3) You could ask the Gill about the one time a car tried to run his bike.
they'd confirm or deny the stories much better than me tellin' ya they're true or not.
|
Of course the names have been changed to protect the innocent. Oh, and everything was computer generated................in Mexico.
