Phoenix us carb guys do not think 12's are fast. WE just brag alot because its the first milestone for a big o tub of a early 70's car. A lot of work had to go into those old tanks to get them rolling, just on the motor , no NOS, just motor, full exhaust and on dot tires. Well if you do the work yourself its a milestone.

I think you'll take him. Drag racing is all about power to weight and making it hook up. He's gonna burn them at the line and then try to push that lead sled down the track.

For fun, start asking a lot of dumb questions. Make him feel like he's so smart and you havn't got a clue. It's always more fun to beat the crap out of them that way!

A stock 351 Mach 1 barely broke into the 14's. You have to take into account that the car has leaf springs and will be traction limited.

I doubt that car, even with a few bolt ons will go any faster than a 13.50.
