Thats cool, it should end up being a good race. Both cars 6 speeds? also what kind of tires are you guys running? If someone wanted to break a 10bolt I have a set of ET radials on 16x8 stock rims if either of you wanted to borrow them.
As for a semb track rental... That would be pretty cool. Track rentals are always a good time. It's fun being able to set up races between yourself and your buddies.

Both Granny Autos! I'm running bald stock tires(Good Years) and Jay is running radials. He has a hard time hooking, I don't have a hard time hooking. But if he gets a new set of tires and rims, he's deffinately going to get me off of the line. That's if he doesn't break his 10bolt :smt048
Track Rental, we'll see if we can work something out this summer!!! It can be kind of pricey :///

hahaha everyone wants a run with the big dog! yah i have a huge ass stall in mine. yah the car will b out this season but most likely later in the season. its hard to say as of now though. if life goes as it is now prolly put it on the road around july 18th-sept 18th. once i got the bike i put a cover over the car and it sat in the garage. paid the insurance and it just sat so i wanna make sure if i bring it out that i will actually use it. i wana get sum headers for it really bad! the exhasut on 99's are restrictive so might be able to free up some power their. i really wana find a tire that will help me stick, but not necessarily dead hook. my nittos just arent cuttin it. i was puttin down 2.6 60fts here people!!!!! but i also want to kno that how the car stands is how it runs anywhere anytime. thats why i dont wanna use sticky tires. im down for a race, i dunno if everyone will be able to make it to the track on a specific day but i wanna break into the 12's really bad. im at 13.3 with a 2.6 60ft so if i shave the 60ft im good. hell, my first R/T ever was a .01 :smt048

Like I said if you want to use my MT et radials feel free. They are nasty though! You will be able to take full advantage of your converter.

RT's have nothin to do with your times or speeds... damn a 2.6 with a auto...damn get some tires lol... but MOST of all get a torque arm... my 60' got cut down the most with a torque arm. The reason is because it eliminates the wheel hop which causes the tires to spin...
also look into getting some LCA lowering brackets as those springs are just making the wheel hop worse...
ill help ya to get traction if you need... tires are key but eliminating the wheel hop is the most important...
also wheel hop is what breaks axles :smt045

Hey Jay do you have nitto drags or regular sport tires? When your at the track did you happen to drive through the water box? If your looking for traction do not go with bf drag radials. Thats what i'm using and i hate them.
