This was a couple months back but i figure i would post it

Well i was home this weekend, been working out in ohio for my company. So i decide to take the charger out for a ride. The kids come out and want to go to the video store, and the wife hop's in and asks to stop at cvs to pick up some milk and pop.
I must say they all fit very well in a 2 door 73 charger (i had been told you need 4 doors to fit a family in hmmmmmmm)
So we stop at the vidieo store , pull out to head to CVS. Sitting at the light i hear a meak lil rev, to my right is a brand new charger RT, (only 2 people in the car).He rev's the enigne a few more times.
Now normal i would never hot rod around with the kids in the car, but i gave in to my lil deamons, i just told the kids to wave goodbye in the back window lol. Well to be honest, i really didnt have to get on it all to bad . The guy and woman would not even look at me at the next light, they seemed to be upset at something, i hope everything was ok.

I'm the same way tho. Not just my lil one but even w/ my teenager in the car. I'll admit tho, every now and again, the lil devil does win with me too!! :smt077

Vary nice, my dad had a 70 challenger and i got to ride shot guy when he wanted to have some fun with some guys.

hmmmm maybe alittle bit of that rubbed off from the old man......

thats great. i drive my friend and his 3 kids to the bowling alley every friday (one car fam, wife takes it to work). so, the last month i was headin out and we stop at a light (i'm in a 93 buick lesabre, mind you) some punk ass kid, no more than 17, pulls up in the srt4 mommy and daddy bought for him. he starts spooling the turbo and yellin, "yo, you wanna race? wanna race, yo?" i looked at him and said, " dude, i have three kids in the car are you f*ckin stupid?" a sec later the light changed, he short-shifted 1st and missed second. i had to do it, so i stomped it and blew his doors off. after arriving at the bowling alley, my friend said, "that totally made my day, DON'T ever do it again with my kids in the car tho." told him i didn't plan to.

last week i pulled up next to him at a light and really blew him away. we both stomped it and once again he short-shifted 1st, short-shifted 2nd (i was suprised he hit it) and ground 3rd. i cringed so bad from the sound it made, i almost didn't see the car that i was pullin up on.

That's a great story. Yeah, those Charger RTs are nothing, but the new SRT-8 comming out is going to be a bad motha. Heard it can do 12s in the 1/4, "so I heard"

Awesome story though man :)lol

You should of jumped out of the car with a tire iron and fixed his windshield, or crowd the little punk of the road into the ditch. I hate people like that in thier little crapbox mobile trying to race everything up and down the road, but yet to scared to put their money where their mouth is. Most of them look like rejects from the "Poser Mobile" cell phone adds.

he didn't, but this kid that started hangin out across the street from me, in mommy and daddy's silver '05 350z does. he can't get it to burn out right (sounds like a fwd chirpin) nor can he drive stick. actually the kid that lives across the street can't either. i gotta get a pic of his busted ass civic and post it! front bumper fell off bout 4-5 days ago! :smt038
