13.55 LT1

This past weekend (oct 29) i went to visit my brother at college. He has a 93 Z with an auto and we decided to take it to the strip one last time for the season. We switched back and forth and took turns driving.

My last run it hooked...

1.996 60'
13.55 @ 100.76mph

Not bad for an LT1 with the only mod being midlength headers...

i better start moddin my SS... he's only a tenth behind my best run!!!!

Seems pretty damn good for a LT1 better start modding before he gets a good tire.

wow! thats stout as shit for an lt1...let alone an a4...i went 13.58 but i needed 103mph trap speed to do it

Wow, i didn't realize that my brother posted up my times. That time was also achieved with something like a 20 mph or so headwind (just a guess to how hard the wind was, but it was pretty strong). Hopefully I can go back on a calm day and be able to get a 13.4 and a higher trap.
