Had some fun out there this weekend...
Ran a buncha stuff - including the black Cobra I've been dyin' to run again. Seems we've been modding at the same rate, as the outcome was the same - he pulled about the same distance after two gears. Wish the bugger would go outta the hole - I don't like roll-ons, as it takes the driver out of the equation.
He's claimin' all the bolt-ons and a 125 shot - when we ran, he didn't hit the shot. Based on the way he moved - mid 11's.
Sadly, Max decided to spit up the pieces parts that make up the 1-2 shift assembly - so's he's gonna be down for a few days while upgraded gears, forks, and synchros go in. While I'm at it, I may click off the alloy flywheel and upgraded clutch - along with some exhaust upgrades on account of I gotta take that down to get the trans out.
The nice thing about breakin' stuff is you get to put it back together again - faster.
