I *get* whatcha say about mustangs.
Alright.
I finally get it.
I make a point of not going after family (read other mustangs) as it's akin to goin' cannibal. For some reason, tho, mustangs have been goin' after Max like a fly on dog poo. Every time I go out, there's some dude rollin' alongside, revvin' his motor and all that. Every time I think, well - he must have something, 'cuz he's got gauge pods on the A-pillar, big-assed tach on the dash (like the stocker doesn't work :smt017 , and a shift lite. They subscribe to the Summit Sports school of car mods; thinkin' that hangin' all that drag-racer wannabe crap where folks can see it makes them go faster.
So they gots catbacks - big friggin' deal. Everybody does. So they gots underdrives - everybody does. So they gots a CAI and can actually hear induction noise for a change.
Tellyouwhut - when you gots 235 HP at the rear wheels to start with, the 20 HP you picked up isn't gonna allow you to roll on by.
I do get a kick outta the look in the rearview after droppin' the hammer...The saucer eyes and dropped jaw say it all.
Hell, Summit oughta give me a discount for spankin' these guys, as you KNOW there back on Monday lookin' for the next set of speedparts so's they can hang with Max!
My advice:
Lose the boy racer stuff - concentrate on making the car go instead. Buy a friggin' blower and fuggedaboutit.

Fake carbon fiber? Isn't CF basically plastic? Would fake plastic be metal? If so, I got me an all fake plastic vert. I must go really fast! J/K :smt038

Sad for those po' individuals that see the weekend Speed shows and go and get thier Jegs, Summit catalogs (No offense to either, they have some nice stuff) and go "Chrome?"........."Must make it fast 'cause they got alot of it in here for sale!" lol

its a fake print because real carbon fiber isnt cheap and very hard to make flawless....while being very strong it is more of a weave and sealed like fiberglass

Well, carbon fiber is carbon in fiber form and if you don't know what carbon is we are all based on it, everything is but in it's pure compressed form we like to call them diamonds. :smt045 That is why it is so strong and light weight when made for such applications. What most people see on the street is dolled upto make it look nice.
