carborated vs. fuel injected

which is better for reliabilty and every day use. I'm looking into a couple of trucks, a 1990 F series and an 85 F series. I like the 85 more, but its carborated, and I've heard that for a Daily driver, fuel injection is way better. Is this right?

Injection is usually more reliable and better for fuel mileage but if the `85 is a good deal it might be worth it.
