Sweet news!

So I just found out what I'm going to be branching and doing when I graduate and get my commission! I am going to be going into the aviation branch to be a US Army Aviator! I am on cloud nine about it and can't wait to start flight school this summer. I am not sure what airframe I'm going to fly, but I'm probably going to try and fly Apaches. So I move down to Ft. Rucker, Alabama this summer for like a year and a half to learn to fly helicopters. Then I go off somewhere else in the world to lead a unit and probably take them into combat. Just thought I'd let you guys know, I am way excited.

so your going to the warrant officer training program? or are oficers allowed to fly helicopters as well?

I'm going to be commissioned as an officer. Yeah officers fly too, but not as much as warrants. Warrants are usually older and their only job is to fly while the officers fly and lead/run the unit too.

That's pritty fuckin sweet, deffinately would be a bad ass job. Just work hard at it and keep your mind on track.
