Hi all,



I am in the process of getting divorced ATM, and due to some wise and profitable real-estate investments my (ex)wife and I will both be receiving a VERY handsome payday upon seling our house. My best friend and I have been in discussion about restoring a '69 Firebird Convertible that his father in law owns (presently in a field in Western Canada) and I now have the funds available to me to move forward with this project. I am joining this list primarily as a sounding board for questions regarding paint color, engine selection, troubleshooting, etc. so as this situation develops I will be posting to this forum. I hope to get to know all of you a little, and a few of you very well, and everyone has the opportunity to help me rebuild a '69 Bird basically from the ground up.

Welcome Kyle. I'm a Pontiac buff so I think I can help you out with this a little.

Is the 69 Convertible a 400 car? Is it a base 400 or a Ram Air model? What kind of code is stamped onto the engine block in the upper left under the head?

If you need help with paint codes, options, shops, anything like that feel free to ask me.

Good News, Good News, and Bad News Warhammer OnlineI mentioned the other day that my video card died, and I needed to pick up a new one. Well it looks like I ordered it just in time, because the beta over at Warhammer Online Age of Reckoning just added a bunch of new players, myself included. If you haven’t tried to signup for a beta account yet I’ll link the sign up page later on in the post.Anyways so the first piece of good news for me is my new video card. I picked up an nVidia eVGA 8800 GT from NewEgg.com for about $250 including the shipping to Hawaii. Really easy installation for the hardware, and drivers.So once I got my new card up, and running I had to make sure my World of Warcraft game could be played.Just as I suspected it booted up, and I could play at my regular resolutions again proving that my video card was the cause of my inability to play WoW. I can finally hit the auction houses again to start earning wow gold now. My gold supply is still at 13,000 since I only sold about 1k gold in January despite having the lowest price on my server on Sparter.Anyway the next bit of news is both good, and bad news. I have been accepted as one of the newer beta testers this timer around. So this news put together with the fact that I’m playing the beta on a new video card makes Mitch a happy gamer. Now for the bad news…The EA Mythic, the makers of Warhammer Online Age of Reckoning. Have made all beta testers sign a strict NDA(Non-Disclosure Agreement). So as much as I would like to tell you the ins and outs of this upcoming MMORPG I can’t. My hands are tied on the subject along with my tongue. Soo you’ll just have to hope that once you do sign up for the Warhammer Online Beta, that you’ll be part of the next group that gets invited in for the next phase. It is a sad thing for me to tell. I am so disappointed on Warhammer online power leveling. I have play lord of rings online power for quiet a long time, and now it is the end of my playing.Just few days before new payment was due I closed my account at Code masters. Good bye War, it has been nice 10 months and it was pleasure to play and grew few of my characters. However, there is something wrong with warhammer power leveling in my opinion. Cause in last 4 months the game has nothing to offer to all players who reached its end Promises of new content delivered by "end of the year" with Maria expansion are not enough to keep me paying and waiting.I don’t like any kind of power leveling because I think it is ignoble. Maybe this is a prejudice. Due to my prejudice I dislike war power leveling too. I am not satisfied with this game as well as its power leveling service and now is willing to say goodbye to it.It is not mean that I am complaining here, but really because I am not happy in playing Warhammer recently.The game is just only a game?
