Ford XC Coupe

Hello all

I was wondering where would be the best place to advertise my Ford Falcon XC Coupe for the American market as i 've heard there is a big market there for this vehicle.

Thanks
Marin

There are some sites that specialize in selling Aussie cars in America. I don't know what any of them are off hand but I've seen them before. Check out google. That's where I found the sites before. I love the Aussie Falcons, shipping one over just didn't quite fit into my budget when I was looking for a car though. Someday I'd like to get one. Got any pictures of your car?

Ausie falcons are so awsome. I've never actually gotten a chance to see one in person, but they are some beautiful cars. I would recomend an add in collectorcartrader.com perhaps. Thats where I sold my car.

Thanks for the quick replys guys. I've owned my Falcon since i was 17 (21 years all up) so it's gonna be a hard decision to sell it.

Cheers

whoa! 21 years. I dont know your situation, so its hard for me to say dont sell it. But I would imagine that you might regret it afterwards. If I had anything for 21 years I'de be attached to it...even if it was like a pinto. I especially wouldnt want to let it go if it was something cool like a Ford Falcon. You cant put a price on sentimental value. Best of luck either way.

I know this is a different body style, but this is one of the most amazing falcons I have ever seen.

Australian Falcon Front Photo

Are the Torinos and Falcons built on the same platform? They look similar.

I knew what car you were talking about before I even clicked the link. I have seen that car in person and it is amazing. It is at the Car Craft Summer Nats in Minnesota every year.

A Torino and a Falcon aren't the same. They are completely independent of one another even though they do look kind of similar. The Falcon is smaller than the Torino, but it isn't a msall version of the Torino or anything like that. completely different car that was developed completley by Ford of Australia independent of Ford of North America.

oh ok. not really knowing much about them or having scene one in person i didnt know. I sure wish they released those Aussie cars here. Holden makes some amazing vehicles in particular, and not just the GTO, I think this car is amazing. Its funny that its called the Caprice. 6L V8 and 270kw! (whatever that equates to haha)

Holden - Luxury: Caprice

362 HP, I believe that is more or less what we are getting in the form of the new Pontiac G8
