From Metro-Detroit, just got a Camaro

Hi, I am new to this site and just got my Camaro in June and love it so far. I have only added a Whisper Lid to it and done some minor cheap appearance mods. I've changed the grill, added tinted headlight covers, put reflective red letters in the "CAMARO" on the back, changed the nose badge to a silver one with a black Chevy bowtie with flames, and took off the dash to put white backings on the gauges and blue LED lighting behind it (which is VERY cool, try it, it is cheap and not too hard). I plan on installing Magnaflow exhaust and SLP ram air induction in the near future. I hope to learn a lot on this site and get involved with people in my area when I am at home in the Detroit area from college. I'd love to get together with people and talk cars and stuff. I am also looking to start getting into autocross. Thanks in advance and I hope to talk to a lot of you guys.

Here is a link and a pic or 2. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2405052

o yeah, i never said there was anything wrong with a V6, I love that car! For a V6 it is real quick and I plan on making it quicker. Yeah it was just that someone said "can't go wrong with an LS1" and I realized I forgot to say what engine was in it.

Whisper Lid threw me off, forgot the 3800s have lids too!

Well a 3800 isn't too bad, they do have some power behind'em. Throw a turbo on it and you'll be all set!!! Just prolly gonna have change a few things with the engine so it holds up, but that all depends how much boost you are running. There was one guy that stopped out on Woodward this summer and had a newer SS Impala, it was turbo charged, would of never known it too. I'm sure he was surprising a few cars out there
