Figured I would do a nice introductory
I have been on these forums for a week now and thought I should introduce myself. My name in real life is Allan. I currently go to school in Chicago but basically live on woodward in the summer. 5 more weeks and I am out of school for the summer, I can't wait. Theres hopfully going to be a lot of good stuff going on. First I gotta find a job right away that pays more then my current backup job that I hate. I'm selling my 240sx after that joke of a movie comes out June 16. Hopefully by the time the movie comes out I will have made a good amount of money at the new job and sell my car for more then its worth in order to buy myself a 4th gen. Until then I'm stuck either driving the 240sx or my little brothers 1996 v-6 camaro. He just turned 16 and he had the car when he was 15, haha, unfortunately he doesn't care about performance and has the car for the looks (for now atleast). I told him to go buy a civic and get a spoiler if thats what he wanted to do but I guess he knows more then that. Hopefully after this summer and being on woodward as a driver he will think twice about wanting looks over performance. I've been looking around on camarov6.com and there are some nice tricks one can pull to make a sleeper v6. If all else fails I can still look forward to the Unholy Alliance Tour coming to cobo on July 6. I have hung out with you guys before as I already stated in another thread but nobody ever talked to me or knew me besides the marauder guys: big slim and mike. When I am out there I'll be sure to introduce myself. Is there a thread with member pics at all so we all know who everyone else is? Other then that, keep your eyes out for the red 240sx drifting turn arounds or a white v-6 camaro playing with the ricers when I come back. See you all then!

Well like any other car, gotta start with bolt ons! One HUGE thing that really helped me out was dropping in a Eaton Posi Differential and some 3.42's. You have to find out if that car is a posi with some better gears then the shitty 3.08's. Once I got all that done I put a nitrous 75 dry shot, Ive been beating mustang gt's ever since. Now the project is on hold till I either come back home from AIT in the Army, or if I can possibly get my car shipped over there in AZ then Ill put more of the fuel system mods and finish it off with a Powerdyne and a custom grinded cam.

Torque Arm and LCA's have helped me a lot with the power to the ground.
what good is power if it never hits the tires?
