New Guy, Old Car.
Hey guys, glad to be aboard. I am just finishing my last project, a 1992 Bonneville SSEi. I am turing my attention to another project. My wife's grandfather does metalworking and is going to build me a body of a '32 Ford Coupe. I love the look, but do not want to run ford internals. I am considering putting it on a modified S10 Frame, installing a 350 and pulling the engine back over the front wheels more. Does anyone here have any experience with kit cars or frame off restorations that coul give me some pointers. :smt023

I feel like I am in good company. My project car and daily driver as of this weekend will be a Bonneville SSEi. Should pack a punch after I am done with all my modifications.

THE GREAT THINGS ABOUT STREETRODS IS THAT YOU CAN DON ANYTHING YOU WANT. WHEN WE PUT THE SMALL BLOCK IN MY DADS 34 WE MADE A MOCK UP OF THE ENGINE FOR PLACEMENT. WE MADE OUR OWN MOTORMOUNTS AND USED A MUSTANG 2 FRONT SUSPENSION THAT WENT ON WITH A LITTLE WORK. MOCH UP IS THE KEY TO PUTTING ANY DRIVETRAIN IN YOU WANT. STREETROD MAG IS A GREAT RESOURCE FOR BUILDING A STREET ROD. GGOD LUCK
