Hello from Tennessee

Don't know how I got it, but thanks for the invite. I live in Blountville, TN adjacent to Bristol. My primary interest is rooted in musclecars, but I don't currently own one. Drag racing is my motorsport of choice. The NHRA track here is open May through October on Tuesdays and Thursdays. for what is known as the Street Fights. It's open to anyone running DOT tires and mufflers. Unfortunately, May is a good way off.

My current rides are:

1975 Stingray - 355 cu in, forged domes, forged crank, ported and polished 882 heads with 2.02/1.60 stainless valves, Comp 292 cam and magnum rockers, Performer RPM intake, 750 Holley, 400TH tranny, headers, Flowmasters, 4.11 gears. Car is still a work in progress.

2002 SS Camaro - Comp Cams 216/220 - 520/532, Comp 918 springs, Pacesetter coated longtubes, SLP CAI and lid, Prothane mounts, Ported and polished heads, SLP SFC's, SLP centermount exhaust, 6sp with Hurst shifter, 4.10 gears, Predator tuner.

I guess I'm still thinking of 1964-1970 as the muscle car era, but I definitely like having horspower, handling, decent gas milage, and air conditioning with the late models.
