1977 Trans Am Special Edition "Bandit" F/S

I am considering selling my 1977 Trans Am. I have the original build sheet on the car to verify it is a true Special Edition (or "Bandit" for you movie buffs). It does have the Hurst t-tops, a Pontiac 400/TH350, and the correct 15x7 snowflake rims. The engine and tranny were rebuilt in 97, and the car met a mailbox it didn't like that year(bent a frame horn at the bumper)...so the owner pulled the motor out and put it in a truck, but couldn't keep a driveshaft in the truck due to all the torque and kept snapping u-joints...virtually no miles put on the truck. I put a partially rebuilt front subframe on the T/A and dropped the motor/tranny back in. I have the original subframe still(I plan to fix it to use under another project) if you want to inspect it. I have the reciept for the work done on the engine in 97. There is some rust on the doors, and some on the sides in the trunk(center trunk is good shape), rear lower quarters will need to be patched. Frame rails look good. The floor pan looks great except where I had to cut open the floor to get to one of the nuts that the subframe bolt goes to. Roof looks good. Glass is good except windshield. Dash is cracked in a few places. Good back seat, no front seats. Usable console. Correct machine turned gold gauge bezel(redone by restoreamusclecar). This car is supposed to be NUMBERS MATCHING. I will verify in a day or two. I am in North Louisiana...not the part of LA that floods. The only issue is I don't have a title...will be sold with a bill of sale only...you'll need to go thru a title agency to get the title(should run you about $350 bucks). Only reason I haven't yet is because I was in no hurry to get the title since this was going to be my personal "toy". Between myself and my partner, we are working on five different vehicles at the moment and my conscious won't allow me to watch this classic waste away because I don't have time to restore it. I have new reproduction front fenders for the T/A, a useable front cap, and the hood is very repairable(slight damage on the very front). I also have a radiator core support in great shape that will come with the car. I watched an S/E T/A on eBay go for over $5,000 that needed complete restoration(theirs even needed floorpans/frame rails/rear quarters), so I know this car is worth something. I will entertain a reasonable offer on the car as long as you promise to restore him and not gut him. Not interested in any overseas deals...strictly contenintal US buyer...I will even list the car on eBay at my expense to protect a buyer. You can check me out at Home . I may still list the car on eBay after Christmas anyway. (I may also change my mind and keep it...haha...I hate to sell him). Thanks!
