Wanted: 70-72 Chevelle

Preferably a roller, or maybe a car with a blown motor/trans? Rust isn't a HUGE issue unless it's on the verge of falling apart. I live in Michigan, I realize I'm not gonna find one without a considerable amount of rust in my price range.

Looking to spend as little as possible, unless some1 has a running/driving project that needs finished for around $3000-4000.

I doubt I'll find one, but hey, it's worth a try. Fuck the dealership I talked to today that wants 10k for a 72 with a non-original 454, mis-matched panels, and a shitty paint job.

I know and that's why I'd rather find one now (even though I am pretty broke) then pay 2-3x as much 5 years down the road. Even if it means buying a basketcase and taking the next 20 years to finish it.

I got a lead on a 72 Malibu 307/auto today that's been in storage for a few years, but it's still quite a bit more then I really have to spend. We'll see though.

I got the dealership down to 8k on the one I saw the other day, but they'd only give me $2000 for my car.... and I can't pull the difference out of my ass.

But, thanks for the link, I appreciate it.
