Wanted - Daily driver/winter beater

Hey all,
I'm not in any real hurry, but I'd like to get a winter car in the next couple months. I was initially thinking of a late 80's/early '90's Honda Prelude, or anything cheap and Honda, but I also thought more recently that I know GM cars a lot better, so why not stick with the general. To that end, I've also been looking at some mid '90's Grand Prix's. So, just throwing that out there if someone stumbles across something.

Basically: I'd really like something 3 grand or less, and ideally, either a Honda or a GM W-body.

Cant help you, but If you are looking for reliability, i would steer clear of a mid 90's grand prix. the 2.8/3.1/3.4 v6 is notorious for sporadically blowing head gaskets among other problems. if you want a GM id recommend spending a little extra money on an older 3.8. theyre bulletproof and faster too. Just my .02
