1998 z28 72k miles

well, i may be selling my camaro.....i just don't seem to have the time or energy to spend on the buick, which is gonna take a ton of work, when i've got the camaro to play with.....and i want to buy my wife a '05 crossfire :smt023 i'm gonna work at cleaning it up a bit in the next week, but i figure i'd post it up here for the local guys first

1998 camaro z28
72k miles
it's stripped down for the most part(am/fm tape, no a/c, no cruise) but the interior is in great shape. all routine maintainance has been done regularly(i've owned the car for a year and done everything myself, previous owner has receipts going back 3 years) new front brakes(new calipers, rotors, axxis pads) new rotors and hawk pads in rear.....new walbro 255 high pressure pump, new fuel filter, nitto 455 up front, 555r in back, new eibach rear swaybar, 3.73 gears in auburn carrier was just serviced and looked good(wolf's head oil was used0, new ngk plugs, msd wires with heat boots.. blh blah blah

the suspension was pretty much done when i bought the car last year: strut tower brace, welded in subframes, driveshaft loop, eibach sportlines with kyb 8 way adj shocks(i thought it was too low, but grew to like the stance too much to change it), lower control arms, adj lca brackets, solid lower panhard.....i added an eibach rear sway, trans mount and eldbrock torque arm.....

i also installed mac midlength headers, a mac y pipe with dual cutouts, 3 inch slp pipe from the y to the flowmaster single in dual out exhaust.....it sounds awsome

this spring i installed a tci ssf 4200 stall, along with(obviously) a new trans filter and amsoil atf....it is awsome! so awsome that i keep ignoring the elephant in the corner(the electra) i still have the stck tc as well, should you want it.......

i may be leaving stuff out, but the bottom line is this is a fast car for a summer daily driver.....i went to the track twice with it, the first time i ran 13.1 @ 107(i think?), the last time(after the headers, dual cutouts, rear swaybar) i went 12.59 at 112......i may be going to milan this weekend just to see if i can sneak an 11 second pass in since the stall, but it's for sure low 12s.......

it's not a show car, the body/ paint is not perfect.....it's got 2000 headlights, and i took off the side trim(i think it looks better)...i'll get some pics up soon, here are some from last summer: http://detroitwheeliedog.com/v-web/gallery/album14

asking 8,200 obo

thanks for lookin'
josh

dude, it was enough fun putting it in, there's no way i'm taking it back out! but definetely worth it for the driving pleasure.....what a difference the stall makes!

i'm sure i've forgetten other stuff, but it also has the whisper lid and k&n filter and the pcm for the cruise control, i just never hooked it back up......and the hpIII programmer

yeah, the kybs are nice :smt045 , and definetely needed with it lowered so much......the paint is why the price is low, it's been dinged a couple times(before i got it) and the repairs were servicable and nothing more........i was gonna repaint the bottom drivers side door, but i could pry go lower if the buyer didn't car........i'll get it cleaned up and get serious here this week with some decent pics....
