Monte's at MIS

i took my dad with me to Monte's at MIS this wknd which was hosted by the Monte Carlo Pace Car registry... i had tons of fun and look forward to going next yr

On friday night after the drive up there we went to Garfield's for dinner (60 monte carlos lined up in the parking lot got a lot of attention from the locals who brought out novas, harleys, and even public safety to come take a look at our cars)
then back to the hotel to clean up our cars after the long drive
the next morning we lined up the cars (which wrapped from the street, around the building, and then snaked thru the parking lot in back) and did a convoy to the track

at the track we had a "little" car show (67 of 70 registered cars showed up) and lunch then we each got 2.5 laps around the track which was followed by a group lap and then we all lined up near the finishline for a group shot with the mc limo as our "pace car"


ive got an album of pictures but be prepared i took about 250 pics.... lol (ill hav to post this later cuz its STILL loading.. lol)

lol..... yea i was in monte heaven... poor nick.. i made him sit thru the 250 pics........ most of which he said were the same :smt015

no drafting.. it was the parade lap ... besides no passing so what's the use... lmfao..

but i did get a bunch of ideas and meet tons of cool monte people from all over.... we had people from cali, wisconsin, texas, indiana, canada.... and there were 2 aerocoupes :/\/ .. ... and an intimidator w/ 20 miles on it.... :smt025 :smt077

of course the ones of me at the finish line n leaving mis didnt show up.......

but my dad was BEAMING the whole wknd..... after we go around the track i get in line to take pics at victory lane... he got out w/ the camera to get ready to take pics.... he starts talkin to a guy by the wall n he's like "ive been watching nascar since 1979 and i never thought i'd see the day when MY DAUGHTER drives me around the track" (the side window was down so he had no idea i heard him say it but thats one thing i'll never forget)
