GTO Vs. C6 up to 190+mph

People on other forums have been saying that this is bullshit, doesn't look like they are actually going that fast!

It is a Lumina SS (GTO) with cam+bolt-ons Vs. new C6 Vette. In the middle east the Lumina SS has a 3.23 rear instead of the 3.46 here in the states.

its because they arnt... the speedo and the gearing on those cars isnt set up to do 190.... if anything its 190 kph

I must admit, it looks much slower and if the Vette is like other GM cars now, you can switch to metric without changing the number on the dash so even though the Vettes speedo is damn near burried it is still reading in KPH. Myth busted.

exactly! all the new GM's do it. Caddy has been doin it for a while but now they have it for all them
