A few of my cars, Vette, Trans AM, Firebird, Cop car, and how they all came to be.

First car, the daily driver. 1994 Chevy Caprice 9C1, Ex Los Angeles County. I have had this car for about a year now, and love it to death. It has an LT1 350 that has enough get up and go to make this 9C1 a strong runner. The only things I have done to the car where replace the mufflers with Series 40 Flowmasters, with turndowns, and a cheap O air cleaner, other then that it's bone stock and alotta fun. I love driving this car on the freeway, everyone gets out of your way, people let you pass them, everyone goes 65 MPH, its great! This car has taken me to Sacramento, Fort Brag, Nevada, Los Angeles, Arizona, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Mexico, Canada without every once giving me a problem. And my first pass out in the 1/8 mile was a 9.5, with a 60 foot of 2.1 with wheel spin, at 74 MPH. Not bad for a 4,2000 open diff car left in overdrive and not getting traction!

And this is my 1985 Chevy Corvette. Nothing special here at all. 90,000 miles on it though, paid $900 for it. Needs an overhaul of the engine. I have at most put 70 miles on this car in 2 years.

Corvette at home in Sacramento. Sleeping again.

Next to a Nissan that I almost rolled... Long story

Next car is a car I had before the 9C1, a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am, with WS6 suspension. Great car, 114,000 miles on it, 4 speed auto, 5.0 TPI engine, not the fastest thing on earth, but could take turns like a mofo. Here are some pics BEFORE the crash...

The only "after the crash" photo I have. Sorry. I was hit head on in Turnbull Canyon.

Reaplced the hood, fender, front lights, bumper, bumper support, etc.

Got it back and awaiting to have it insured now.

And last, but not least, is my Firebird. Formula 400, one of I think 2,260? made in 1970. It's numbers matching, and after a long time of thinking, I decided to keep it that way. Car has TH400, 400 engine, Power front disc brakes, Power steering, heavy front and rear sway bars, LSD with 3.31 axle ratio, deluxe interior trim, tach and clock in dash, AC, loaded with all options but a damn 4 speed! which pissed me off, but who cares.

Here are a few pics.

These where taken during the breakdown, to verify it was #'s matching 70,000 mile car. Found out it was.

As it was when it got pushed out of a garage, after sitting for about 13 years.

now photos of the build up and finish.

It wasn't even a resto. All I did was slap everything back together, service the engine, trans and diff, and call it a day
