After thought. I got rid of the Vortech mounts and had these custom water jetted and machined for recessed bolts, polished and chrome plated. Call me a sissy but I got sick of trying to polish the plates and racking my nuckles on bolt heads.

AFR heads, ported, polished and bowl blended
2.08" intake valves, 1.6 exhaust
650 lift Hydraulic roller cam 112 centerline
Crane hydraulic roller lifters
FAST EFI 50 lb MSD injectors
Accel intake and 1000cfm throttle body
Callies forged crank 3:48 stroke
Eagle 3D rods L-19 bolts 6"
JE custom forged pistons
Sealed power rings
Iridium plugs
MSD everything.
Vortech YS blower 14lbs of boost
Custom tubing and Intercooler.
Custom Cog drive and chrome brackets.
Procharger blow off valve shown in red anodize.
Extreme velocity air hat with logo removed and chrome plated
GM valve covers cast aluminum sanded smooth polished and chromed.

Makes 801Hp at 6400rpm 712lb ft of torque 4800rpm. (race gas)
725hp at 6100rpm 600lb ft of torque 4500rpm (pump gas)

Idles at 800 rpm and gets 15 mpg with my 4L80E overdrive and 4.56 gears. Cruise rpm is 2700 at 70 mph.

Well to be fair, I have had 16 yrs to think about what it should look like. If I screwed it up after that much day dreaming, I would not deserve the car at all.

That car is frickin' AMAZING!!!! I love the whole vibe it gives off! It screams primitive, yet it is a high-tech (kinda), high performance machine! It screams primitive, yet it is in a class all its own! It is a truly beautiful car, and I must give you props for putting in the blood, sweat, and tears it takes to make a truly amazing car that unbeleivably unique and amazing! Wow! Just. . . WOW! I'm so blown away! Can I have it? lol

I really appreciate the compliments. You know when I rebuilt this car I did it for myself. When you do that without anyones input, you never really know what other people are going to think. I am proud of the fact that my two tone is being copied by many others. I came up with this paint scheme in 1999 and painted in 2000. I just recently finished getting all the bugs worked out and started showing it. The car was restored and finished in Wisconsin in 2004. I finally moved it out to Arizona in April of 2004 and put in the interior, fuel injection and all the other crap to make it road worthy. What a long journey. The really sad part is that since the paint is now almost 6 years old and only driven about 800 miles since it was finished, it needs to be re-painted. Got a couple cracks in the paint and I am anal. I stopped showing it recently because a golf ball flew over my house and hit my car onthe hood like the one day I left it out front. #$%^&%$%^&.

Anyway thanks again for the comments, I am glad others can enjoy looking at it as much as I do. The coolest thing I see is when I take the car to shows is a 6 or 7 year old boy or girl say "WOW daddy look at that" then actually seeing them bond over seeing my car. That is cool.
