because when LS1 guys want more power they usually go to an iron block instead of a alluminum block because you can bore it out more and its already a 6.0L. All the LS1 parts are compatable and the engine is cheaper then and LS1

because it IS (essentially) an LS1! when you boil it all down it's the same damn thing a gen III chevy 350 (346 if you want to get technical).

the iron block is just stronger for when you're crazy like Bryce (his TA is sub 10s... and he's in a wheelchair!)
