that 4.2 is worthless... grab a 4.0 and put the 4.2 crank in it to stroke it...
i had a 91 w/ 3in springs and SOA... 38.5 super swampers... D44/D60... 5.13's... ect.

the 4.2 is going to die very soon. Im picking up a 350 from a 84 burban for 100 bucks. Im gonna rebuild it and throw it in the wrangler. Only thing needed for it is a bellhousing. But for what its worth the 4.2 has lasted a good while....the only thing that sucks is the damn carb.

How do you like drivin the ion? There pretty nice, handle good, but the wheel hop is friggn annoying as hell and first gear is useless at WOT
Any problems with cold startups on it or no?
We had alot of our cars on our lot not start due to them running extremely rich and flooding out. Theres a re-calibration to not dump so much fuel on start up that seems to work.
Also theres a problem with the blowby contaminating the MAF and air filter. We had a bunch of engineers out to my work tinkering with them tryin to fix it the other day.

if im wrong correct me but the 04's dont have a MAF...i think the 04's have MAPs and 05+ have the MAF...which ive heard some bad things about. Theres been no problems with cold starts and the blowby. 1st is very useless at WOT...even taking off and bringing it to around 4 grand is useless. The stock dunlops are the biggest pieces of Sh*t ive ever driven on. But other than that its a good car.
