Yeah you would definitely find it easier to sell if the hood and the front bumper was replaced. Phew this ones a toughy.

There are like 3 pieces to the bumper. You got the cover (paintable nose cone), the core (82-92, looks like a honeycomb gray heavy dute plastic material), and the support (bracket where everything in front of it hangs off of). Now if the damage is bad enough past the bumper support, your looking at some frame damage, happened on my 89' hence the fact its scrapped. So hopefully you will only have to replace the first two (cover, and bumper core).

Now for the hood. Any hood will work from 1982-1992. The only differences are if its a Z28 hood or not. Z28 hood has the spot for the louvers, the other is simply a flat hood. They should all bolt up in the same manner as well.

Good luck. Youll be better off selling it this way than busted up a bit.

Yup. Maybe even a hood would be ok. The plastic peice behind the bumper are still there. So I DONT think there is an frame daamge. The front cross bar is bent however. It did drive home no problem. Didn't feel any differnet.

Picutes of the damage.

I've decided on a T-5 Transmission. :smt023 Gonna be fun. And cheaper than Wide ratio AOD rebuild with 2400 stall speed.

yeah thats the upper radiator support. Those are also easily replacable, all you gotta do is drill out like 10 spot welds and then spot weld a new one back in, not too big a deal.

T-5? :smt023

Im personally going the automatic route with my camaro.

I may go wide ratio AOD with 2400 stall speed.

The shop I'm goign to wants 800 for the install of a t-5. Which is good... if I get the tranny for free. Other wise it's going to be more money than the AOD.. and my AOD will take up to 500 hp where the t-5 won't. That and the T-5 Was desgiend for a mustang. where my car is almost twice the weight of a mustang.

The Wide Ratio AOD will cost me around 1200.

Well if the T-5 is free.. It's really not a big amount of money. Around 800-900 (Need the pedal asselbmy and stuff).

The Wide Ratio AOD w/ 2400 stall speed and shift kit for 1200 is good. The guy in PA wanted to do it for 1500 and I thought that was good. But I had to take a ride all the way down there. this guy is right down the road and wants less.. so it works out better.

Can't wait to get this gears in this weekend.

Getting tired of the Headers and H pipe. Went to Midas today. got some mid pipes cut and bent with hard ware for 50 bux. Tomorrow I'm gonna go get some mufflers.. take it back.. have tem cut the pipes shorter.. bolt everytign on. Make me some tail pipes. finish it all. The tail pipes are goign to slighitng come out the side of the rear (in the middle). I wanna do dual tips on each.. one tip on each shorter than the rear one. Like the old GTOs. This is goign to look sweet. Specially when I do my suspension. Rake that shit. Next month the latest.

Alright well they wanted 130 for the tail pies and 150 to install it so I said fuck it. I got the wrong mufflers.. so I couldn't put tail pipes on them.. so I said fuck it as well. Had them finish the pipes I got yesturday.. Took them home.. put them on. But the mufflers on. Put down turns. Boom.. you got it.

Quite as a mother fucker thouhg. It went from mean and loud to quite and purring. Real quite. Almost stock quite. O well.. shit runs better and all the low end from the back pressure is back so it's better.
