Gov. Jennifer Granholm drummed up $34 million in investments for Michigan on the first day of a trade trip to Japan.

Konica Minolta Holdings will invest $13 million to expand newly purchased American Litho, a newspaper printing plate manufacturer in Grand Rapids, creating 81 jobs.

Heavy electrical equipment maker Meiden America will invest $10 million to open a new facility in Michigan. It plans to hire 50 people.

Automotive seating manufacturer Taichi-S plans to expand its engineering facility in Farmington Hills, creating 20 jobs.

Shikoku Cable Co. will expand its sales office in Novi, adding two positions.

Ohhhh look now she steps up and brings jobs to michigan, She is doing this becouse her job is on the line in the fall. But I am puttin my money on her losing her job in the fall. She took michigan and run it into the ground.
