ah young grasshoppa......if i was you, i would kick into high gear or you will get left behind in this job market. its not about taking specific classes unless you have a major decided. then their are core classes and pre-reqs. pre-reqs are really important in order to move up the chain.core classes are a must have in order to graduate. one of my sociology profs told me "college isnt hear to teach, but to make you think differently." one i graduated that never became more tru. OCC sucks, trust me i was their and will be bak their during Police Academy time. i am not a fan of Community colleges AT ALL. it only pushed my graduation further back.OU is the best, or atleast i thought it was a freakin great school.

well i would HIGLY recommend figuring out a path first. take classes that are pre-reqs for alot of diff majors. that way you dont waste time and money. its so frustrating knowing u took a muthr of a class that u didnt need. o man does that wanna make sum1 go postal. look for classes that are Gen Ed's. those are the must haves for any degree. such as 100 level or higher, 2 englishes, 2 classes of foreign language...umm history. since your part of the OCC the odds of pursuing a degree through oakland are high. feel free to ask away man. i just finished all this shit

if your planning engineering dont think the math courses bullshit... calc 2, calc 3, and diff eq are nothing to be taken lightly or you WILL fail...
you sound alot like me. If you like working on cars... designing parts and such i think you would like engineering.

getting throught the school part is the hard part... after school is done its much easier as you dont have classes and you have all the resources in the world at your finger tips
