It is a pain in the ass unless you have money and they made one with a manual in the first place and then it is still a pain. You need everything from the slave cylinder to the trans itself and a way to mount it all. I don't like auto btw lol

Converting that car to a manual will be difficult, since they didn't make many with manual trannies. Although a manual is more fun, it doesn't mean an automatic can't be fun. Set up an auto with a nice shiftkit and aftermarket shifter, maybe even a higher stall converter and it can be fun.

Autos can be a LOT of fun, it just limits you a little. I love my 70's 1-2 shift, even the 83's. Not to mention easy brake stands. Also, I will admit, when I had my ceramic clutch and was stuck in 90+ degree traffic, it was no fun driving a stick lol. It was not happy, I wasn't happy. I hate MI road work...

do it! don't be scared, the worst that could happen is it takes more time than you thought. those Keisler guys seem to know what they're doing, I've talked to them on the phone a few times about my nova and I've talked with several guys at shows that bought from them and installed it themselves. DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!
