Polyurethane Vs. Rubber Bushings?

My 68 Camaro need's new bushings and I have been researching and am gettting mixed opinions. Rubber deteriorate and poly squeek. any suggestions?

aye poly all the way, they are way more durable and a little tighter, you will like them, as long as you lube them up real good!

I've had good results with polygraphite being durable and not squeaking. not sure who else makes polygraphite, I've always gone through P-S-T.
and yes, for any kind of performance the rubber sucks and it does deteriorate pretty quickly as they don't hold up to heat, oil and high pressure very well.

Got polys on my upper and lower control arms on my 87 and aslo in the rear lowers and no squeaks.

What a difference in the handling ...BIG difference over rubber.

poly is better for the stiffer ride, etc.

Rubber bushings will generally last you many years without problems :smt025
