Help!!!

i know this is the wrong place for this but i wnat it to be seen quickly, i put my headers on today i was going to go bout 1 mile up the road to my mechanic, so i drove it up there open headered and it kept on cutting off and finally, it died and wouldnt crank again, there was no weird noises, no knocking, it jus suddenly shut off. there was a line running to the cat and an O2 sensor (yes, its got an O2 sensor) which i had to take off, could that be it or what could it be???

Prolly it!

I have the LS1 and have the back 02 sensors off, front ones you need. My car wouldn't run right without the front ones, prolly would die out just like your car did. Your car may be different though

when 02 sensors take a dump or arnt plugged in 99% of the time the computer will go into a limp mode kinda and stay at 450 mV i believe is the magical number.

Also when you first start your car you arn't getting any readings from the 02 sensors at all until the car warms up a bit...so you may want to further diag it before calln it on the sensor, but it also could be it
