Can't do a burnout!

When I roll to the waterbox at the track, I spin once in the box and roll out. When I try to do my burnout, my tires don't spin if I have it in first or second. If I put it in drive or OD, they will start to spin and then either push the car forward or spin my to the right where I nearly run into the wall. Could this have anything to do with my Torque Converter? Please help!

Do you have one of those front brake lockers? You hit a switch and your front brakes lock so you don't have to worry about messing up your rears

No, I've thought about the linelock, but the fronts won't hold as it is.

on street tires you shouldnt be going though the water any way. You should have no problem holdign the brakes and the gas and spinning the tires.

The car shifts fine though. Even down the track as long as it's cooled down sufficiently.

M/T ET Streets?

If you put your foot on the brake, it wont spin at all? All you need is a few times around to get the compound to warm up and the water to get off.

Mickey's. 6 runs within 2 hours and they still won't burn. My best 60' to date is a 1.87. I misordered my TC and ended up with a street version. It wasn't meant for the track. That's why I'm thinking it's the TC. I'm reordering the track version(only cost $200 thanks to Fuddle's upgrade policy!) and hoping that helps. Any other idea's?

In a full bodied car you shouldn't spin the wheels in the water trough. You throw water all over the inner gaurd and it drops on the tire while you wait at the start. half a tire revolution and you go up in smoke. roll through the water and burn out on the other side.
Hate to say this but is the traction control off!
