BAD TIRE? BAD SUSPENSION?

00' Mustang GT (AOD).

I just recently began hearing this "womp womp womp" as I drove on the freeway (smooth surfaced). Drove home and checked out the tires. I noticed on the front wheel (drivers side) the tire has the dip on one section (opposite of a bump), this one caves in on the tire.

What would cause this? BAD TIRE? or FAILING STRUT/SUSPENSION to have this effect on the tire?

I switched the tire to the rear (drivers side) and vice versa. I'm waiting to see if it is a failing or faulty suspension that is causing this or if the tire is bad.

Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks All.

a dip in the tire isnt going to be suspension... try getting the tire warm after some aggressive driving and see if it works itself out... the sound you are hearing is probably the dip or the fact that the tire isnt balanced right anymore because its not perfectly round

If I am understandng this right, the dip in in the tread or in the side wall? Either way, it sounds like a deffect in the tire, deffinately not suspension related.

What part of the tire has the "dip"? If it's on the sidewall, then it's normal. If it's in the tread, then it's a separated belt and the tire is junk. A separated belt will womp-womp-womp like crazy!
