Oil Plug problem

I need some advice on how to get an oil plug out that is stripped. I have been fighting with this all day, if any one can help me please reply. I would be very greatful.

im guess its the typical 15mm. pound a socket on thats one size smaller. alos get the car hot before you try to take it off.
hammer and chisel work too but you need to know what youydoing

i had this problem a couple years back on a ranger splash, bolt was completely rounded no edges.

Go to sears and pick up a package of their stripped bolt removers.

They come in a red little case and they look like a spiral cutting socket.
