You should get in formula SAE... by far the best experience ever.. now you can even get the Tire Data from SAE to design it to a level i wasnt even able to achieve (didnt have tire data my year)

i am in the ASU formula SAE but we are up and coming...working more on sponsors and money...but mean while designing a car... i am sort of co-leading the suspension group... probably going to go with a rocker arm style suspension setup...
but this is another reason im looking to transfer is all their engineering clubs are up and coming which means we wont have finished projects for a year or two...by the time this happens ill be graduating... id rather work with a team that has a solid foundation so i can share my knowledge and learn even more from others

well to be competitive in design you need the rocker arm style.. now the question.. pushrod or pullrod and why?
So you are familiar with Mitchells software as shown above? You can also design your own software of sorts in a 3d modeling program.
Good luck with the sponsors, thats always the hard part..lol and im sure its even harder with never having a car.
One of are cars is going to be a the NAIAS this year, check it out when you go.
For the best team go to cornell.. but good luck gettin on that team..lol Anyways LTU is always a good choice.. our FSAE team is great
