Sanding and buffing material. To get a aluminum or any other type of metal shiny, nice finish!

Dremel with a mini buffing wheel along with some buffing compound that is good for whatever metal you are working with.

You can get some cheaper tools off of harbor freight. We have a lot of air tools that we got from them for dirt cheap and we havent had a problem with them breaking or anything.

List of supplies needed to polish

1. Water
2. Fine Grit sand paper 800, 1200, 2000, and up depending on how much of a perfectionist you are
3. "Blue Magic" polish (you can buy it at most auto parts stores i belive. I have used quite a few polishes and like this one best. )

Process

1. wet sand area to be polished, make sure it is bare metal and not coated prior to wet sanding. Also, use very fine grit on surfaces that are already smooth. Use 800 and below for surfaces with machining marks and other blemishes on them.

2. keep using finer grit paper untill the smoothness is achieved (note: will not be shiny yet).

3. use blue magic

4. look at yourself in the reflection (which.. may or may not be a good thing...)
