found a great price on reman calipers!

i was trying to rebuild mine(off the z28) but i kept ripping the dust boots, so i decided to get some "new" ones.......autozone wanted 37(not bad) but i got ticked at being jerked around by a new guy who didn't know what he was doing, so i kept looking......auto parts plus wanted 44, as did another chain store down the road....the kits to fix them yourself cost 15 bucks at the dealer and each kit only does one piston(the front calipers have two, obviously)....so that would cost 60 just to do both front brakes yourself. so i want to an "independent" place i go to every now and then and i got them for 27 dollars a side....united auto on the east side of gratiot south of 13 mile road....sometimes they get a bit hectic in there, but i've always gotten the best prices.....don't know why i didn't think of going there first, just thought i'd mention them.

They must have rasied thier price..I bought them for 25 each not more than 3 months ago. That 25 dollar deal is just the caliper too, no bracket or slide pins, but yea you cant get the rebuild kits for that cheap and do it yourself :smt045
