Since this is the only area i actually feel qualified to speak in. Lets hear (no pun intended) what you all got in your rides for you audio systems.

I got stereo - dual exhaust. I don't use the sound system AT ALL in the summer; just drop the windows and rumble!

Monsoon is enough for me! Though I've blown one speaker already, might be looking to get one sub in the trunk down the road, so I don't have to put all that bass to those little speakers in the front and back :smt045

Just let me know erik i will hook you up with some crazy good deals. They do also make a custom box arrangement for the trunks of camaros/firebirds/TA. It would look really nice and if you get some lightweight equipment with a small amp you will have your bass but will not sacrifice the weight issues.

Lets put it this way, 3/4" MDF is really really heavy.

I have this set-up in both the 98 and 99

Alpine head unit with built in XM radio(regular alpine head unit in the 99)

Apline 6-disc cd changer

Alpine Amp

10" Kicker Comp VR, stealth box(in the trunk on the left side)

and stock speakers, never got around to upgrading them. I have an amp rack from sub-thump installed, it really cleaned up the back being able to mount the amp and changer to it.

That's about it...

Moonsoons' good enuf for me as well. Plus the ASP U/D doesn't allow for too much juice to be pulled. :smt045

Alpine Deck and speakers, Rockford Punch amp, JL dual voice coil 10" in a stealthbox. (check my cardomain for specifics)

very happy with it... it sounds great at casual volume and can hit for a 10.
